Are the joysticks supposed to look more washed out than the buttons on the Dualshock model that came with this?

I have the FAT model as well as an older slim PS2 than the one in this image, but I haven't taken a picture of either of them yet.

I love the dashboard UI. I also have the Xbox remote for this!
